I have been to the same conference. While my experience with the network was the same, I would like to pint out that eduroam with it's 802.1X authentication WAS provided and was functional most of the time. Unfortunately network problems influenced the authentication phase and one could risk an observation that over lousy network conditions, WEB portal authentication is more reliable then WPA.

The SSID has a 32-character limit, so I'd need to shorten your suggestion slightly. "No-F___YouImOnYourNetwork" is only 25 characters.

Re "F__YouGetYourOwn", well at least the person was smart enough to lock his network with WPA! If it were left open or encrypted with WEP, then you could break in and leave a reply, "No -- f____ you, I'm on your network!"

Another valid solution that supports up to 30 concurrent Skype calls is Skip2PBX (www.skip2pbx.com).
Fully support SIP with G711 Codec.
Just for your info.
